Our Mission
"Proclaiming the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ to a forgotten people, while meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men, women, and children who are homeless or in need of hope."
Hope Ministries Uganda was founded in 2009 to share the Gospel message of Jesus and to minister to a forgotten and discriminated tribe called the Batwa. The Batwa are one of the oldest documented tribes in Africa. Every area that we minister in is created to build and expand the Kingdom of God. Not only do we minister to the Batwa, but also to the surrounding tribes as we share the gospel message and share that the Batwa are also a part of God’s beautiful creation. As the walls of hate and discrimination come down, there is a deeper understanding that we are all one family in Christ. We believe in hand ups and not hand outs. Our vision is to connect the people in our surrounding communities and raise up Christian leaders to expand the Kingdom of God.
